Jennie S. Boelema, CPA
Jennie has been with Snyder & Associates since 1999. She started with the firm while attending Grand Valley State University. She graduated from GVSU in 2001. She is a member of the MACPA and AICPA. She resides in the Walker area with her husband and two sons.
Janelle M. Evans
Janelle joined our firm in December of 2006, just after graduating and receiving her Bachelors of Business Administration Accounting Information Management from Davenport University, as well as, an Associates Degree in Business from GRCC. She has since received her Masters Degree and plans to acquire her CPA license in the near future. Janelle is our firm's QuickBooks ProAdvisor. She spends most of her free time with her husband and family. She resides in Kentwood.
Rusty S. Snyder, CPA
Rusty has been a resident of the Grand Rapids area since 1985. He graduated from Michigan State University (Go Green) in 1981 and worked for a certified public accounting firm in Coldwater, Michigan from 1981-1985. In 1985, he relocated to the Grand Rapids area with a firm that eventually merged with Plante Moran. He stayed with them until 1989 when he decided to form his own firm.
His focus has been, but not limited to, controllership, construction and small business tax and consulting. He is a member of the AICPA, MACPA, Exchange Club, Economics Club, Elks Lodge, Associated Builders & Contractors Association, Construction Financial Management Association, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Coopersville Chamber of Commerce. He resides in the Coopersville area with his wife and two children. They enjoy sports, horses, fishing and, of course, MSU.
Joan H. Sommers
Joan serves as our Director of First Impressions. She came to our firm in 2003, with years of administrative personnel experience with a local retail company. She attended Grand Rapids Community College from 1984-1986. She is our firms Administrator and handles the daily office activities. She resides in Coopersville with her husband and daughter.
